Look to the right of the upper engine mount and down a few inches. You have two cams one in front and one in the back. It is in the housing that attaches to the back cam, up towards the top of the engine. You will see a wire that runs off it down along the right side of the engine and connects to a harness plug in the front. The sensor house is held in by one hex bolt I believe. The sensor is in the housing. Its easy to take off. Getting to the harness plug is a bit tricky but can be done. You need to get the wire unclipped from the varies fastening points along the way.

One more thing mine is a T6 engine. Not sure which engine you have or if its the same spot on any other engine.

yes my car is a t6 i have a problem i see two sensors one by the mount and one close down to the tranny to your left, but i have one more that is not hooked in. i think they are three of them , the one i have not connect is with a shorter wire. but i need to know where that goes. i have three codes for my check engine light p1618,p0722, p0335.
thanks

If its the crank sensor it connects at the front right of the engine. Its hard to see the connector. There are several connectors there. One is for the crank sensor. I don''t know where the rest go.

when you say the right side of the motor you mean the driver side above the transmission below the upper mount

Yes, driverside. Sensor nis directly below the upper motor mount. Wire goes down, follows along the side of the engine and raps around to the front of the motor. The connector is on the block on the front corner where the transmission bolts to the engine, its towards the drivers side front of the motor.

I just read your post again. I am telling you where the cam sensor is not the crank sensor. My mistake. I don't know where the crank sensor is.
