Default Need recommendation for tires

I need to replace tires on my S80 T6 so I am looking for recommendations. This is my wife's car and she just drives kids to daycare. No fast driving or anything like that.

Thanks.

Michelins are good and quiet, conti's too. There are lots to choose though.

The local shop by me has either General Tire Exclaim or Continental Extreme Contact. So I have to either pick between those two or order them online and have them installed. Problem is that like you said, there are 30+ tires on-line to chose from.

I never had Continentals and never heard of General Tire. I usually ride Cooper or Kumho tires and they have been decent. No Cooper or Kumho in the size I need though.

I just put a new set of Generals on the car. I love them. I think they also come with a thirty day return policy. You won't be disappointed.

Take a look at the Continental ExtremeContact DWS... I just put a set of 4 on two months ago and they have the most superb wet grip...
Top rated on tirerack, I think it would be a good call for the safety of your family...

Also, they are not TOO expensive.. Definitely cheaper than michelin and bridgestone etc

I got them from www.onlinetires.com.. were on sale at the time..

give www.discounttiredirect.com a call and they can price match AND offer free shipping..

Yesterday, I put two new Generals in the front. Got them for $130/each installed. This is definitely soft tire (40PSI max vs 44PSI on my Toyo tires). Rides well and very quiet but kinda "smushy" for lack of better term. Thread looks deep and changing the tires got ride of the rubbing I had with my previous tires.

Thanks to all who replied and your recommendations.
