I have an '04 V70. Need recommendation for an OBD reader. So many out there. Each manufacturer has at least two models; one of them being twice as pricey with no clear explanation on the difference.

I'd like to be able to read the Volvo specific codes and reset the service reminder.

Ideally, I would also like to use on my MINI.

Recommendations please.

 

I think mine is an Accutron (anyway it's orange). Gives you the code and an explanation. My wife got it for me for Christmas last year so I have no idea how much it cost. OBD readers are universal so you should be able to use it on any vehicle manufactured from 1996 on.
