i also just noticed that i have a rear fog light out.. i replaced the bulb but didnt fix.. any ideas? on passenger side.

 

US Volvo's only have one rear fog light on the driver side.

 

really!!! WOW.. wait.. are you pulling my chain? then why is there a bulb there?

 

Not pulling your chain, pull out your owner's manual, says the same thing. As for why there is a bulb in there, well maybe someone did the samething you did? Or Volvo puts the bulb in all housings, making it easier to manufacture (all markets, all similar). I'm not sure if in the 2010, the rear fog light is controlled physically (ie. the wiring isn't present), electronically (ie. software difference between models) or a combination of both.

 

And I thought they were just being nice by putting extra bulbs back where you change them out..

 

Welcome to the forum. Yep. My S60 has one rear fog.
