Today I went in to a local shop to schedule an appointment for my 04 s80 2.5t AWD to have a high flow cat put in and to replace the resonator with a straight pipe.

Any input on this? I'm just looking to get a little more flow for the turbo with out spending a bundle. I believe the price installed will come out to be around 325$ US.

Upgrades to date:
K&N Drop in Air filter
Evolve Blue Upper engine mount bushing
Ipd Upper engine stabilizer Bushing
Ipd Transmission mount with blue bushing

And yes, my car shakes like crazy from the new bushings, but it's so worth it.

 

do you notice any difference with the air filter ? i dont think its a big difference

 

It's nothing major, but there is a slight difference.

 

Not bad but the price seems HIGH to me. I did a complete catback system on my old N/A for $325.

In any event you should be able to have a downpipe and catback made locally for under $1000, possibly under $800 total.
