Hello all. Hope someone can help me with this. I have a 2010 S80 T6 that needs front brakes. The parts dept. at the dealership where I bought it thinks the car came with ceramic pads from the factory. I scoured the internet for info on this but can't find a definitive answer. Personally, I've never heard of an everyday drivers car coming off the assembly line with ceramic pads. Could this be true? Thanks. Frank

 

No idea what the Volvo pads are made of - they are a bit dirty-but quiet. I attached a pdf that talks a little bit about this
