Default oil leak

Okay, I've got a leak comming from the area around my spark plugs. i think when I was changing the plugs a while back I loosened the wrong bolts and broke a seal or something because now that area around my plugs slowly fills with oil. it's not a huge leak, I lose about 1/2 a quart in between oil changes, but it does leak behind my engine and on the exhaust and it smells like burnt oil from time to time. What seal did I break? what is it going to take to fix this? Any insight would be great

Are you sure it isn't from the oil cap seal?

I actually got a new oil cap seal when i replaced the PCV box and there wasn't any change. I cleaned up all the oil once and it filled within a week, most of it occurs near the oil fill. Very strange

Does it fill the spark plug hole only or the top section?

it fills the little indentations around the spark plugs, doesn't actually fill the plug holes

Then it has to be something else unless you can see it come out of one of the bolt holes.

I'll try cleaning the area and see if I can see oil comming from any specific bolt hole. If I find oil from a bolt hole what will a repair consist of?

Then either try some sealer or the Cam cover will have to come off then resealed.
