Default Oil Leak

I have a 2000 S80 2.9 non turbo that suddenly started leaking oil somewhere off the front of the motor. The oil is coming from under the timing belt cover and is getting all the way up to the top of the cover. Seams a bit much for a crank seal, any oil ports or other places a lot of oil could come from under there?

there are a few things up there that can leak oil. 1) cam seals 2) front crank seals 3) VVT assembly. Considering the VVT (variable valve timing) gear is driven by oil pressure, that's a likely suspect when you get a lot of oil.
