99 S80 T6, 75,000 miles. For the second time the dipstick has pushed its way up and blown oil all over. I ignored the first time, but twice equals a trend. I'm thinking that there's pressure in the crank case. There are no codes so I'm not suspecting a bad cylinder (yet). Where is the PCV? Is this where I should start, or has anyone seen this before? I'm away from the vehicle until this weekend so I'm also doing a remote diagnos at the behest of my wife. Thanks.

I will bet the vent box is clogged.

There really isn't anything servicable but replacing the box.

It is a pretty big job you have to remove the intake manifold to get to the Vent box.

 

Our vent box was clogged causing a surge effect. Dealer repair was around 400 I think. What can be done to prevent vent box clogging? Take the wooden shoes, so my wife says. Ha!!

Any indy should be able to do it.
If you want to buy the parts check some of the sites in the post links to sites.

Not sure if it is avalible in the aftermarket yet.
