P0011 Bank A over Advanced
Just to let you all know. I recently purchased a 2000 S80. I was getting an engine light. P0011 Bank A Over Advanced. I changed the cam position sensor and checked the CVVT. Code came back.
I was in for service yesterday. I had the mechanic check the timing. The belt was replaced by the previous owner. Both cam's were off by a tooth. The car ran fine though. Mechanic said it would run okay because the system would compensate for the timing being off. He reset both Cam's. The car runs even better now, more tork. Engine light is gone.
The point here is if you get an engine light pointing to an over advanced bank shortly after a belt replacement they probably installed it a tooth off.
Hope this helps.
