Unhappy P1332 and P0013 Codes S80 2001 T6

Hello All,
Need help I'm new at this. I have a Volvo S80 2001 T6. Had a P0013 code on it so I replaced the camshaft Position Actuator (solenoid) which had a clogged screen filter on the gasket. I followed the procedures for swapping out the new connector. Hooray the code went away or so I thought. After running the car for several days the Check Engine light came on again. Same code this time. I thought maybe a misread so I reset it again. Now issues no codes again, was watching my code read and could see in the diagnostic engine reading that the IGN Advance was changing up and down as the engine ran it went up to 26degrees and down to -1degree. After the fourth time starting the car and this was about 2 hours later I get the check engine light coming back on again. This time I run the code reader and I get P0013 Camshaft Position Actuator B---Bank 1 Circuit malfunction and also a P1332 Manufacturer Control Ignition System or Misfire. Now I am stuck. I have changed the crankshaft position sensor before all this started because I did have a bad one then came the P0013 and I changed oil flushed the system changed oil filter and then changed the solenoid as recommended. Help??? I'm stuck now and don't know where to go from here. Thanks!!

In my experience, the code is caused by a failure of the solenoid itself. Since you wired in a new solenoid, that pretty much takes it out of the loop for diagnosis.

On a vehicle of your age, don't be surprised to learn that the actuator itself has worn out.
What I have seen on older Volvos is that there is quite a bit of end play on those actuators as they wear and it can bind up the internals so that the actuator does not fully rotate when oil pressure is applied.

I suggest that you change the actuator as well.
