Default PO422/PO420... could it be an O2 sensor?

I have a 2002 Volvo S80 T6 and the CEL is on. I don't know what I have to do to fix it. I could get a new catalytic converter, but I am hoping something else is throwing the code. I keep hearing all of these different solutions and I am extremely confused. Does anyone have some experience with these codes? By the way.. I have two O2 sensors on the CAT and two sensors in the front.

Thanks a lot!

Those correspond to the post cat O2 sensors. Ie the ones furthest from the engine. What sucks is that you have two cats. How is the car peforming? If you tap the cats and dont hear any rattling there might be life in em yet. You need to find out if they are clogged or not.

Also, some aftermarket cats will throw this code, do you know if they were replaced by the P/O?
