Default position light

Got a position light failure but can't seem to find the fault. I've checked the tail lights, the head lights, the side markers, the fog lights, the only problem that I do have is that the connector to one of my headlights has cracked with the heat of the lights. Could this be the culprit? if so, will the stealer be the only one to turn to?

I have that problem too but if you flip the lights on and off it should go away for a bit. I believe the position light is in the taillight houseing, beside the on that is always on.

Also, try checking inside your headlight housing. Took me a while to find these, but there are two small bulbs, one in each housing. They are NOT headlights. They are right next to the grill. One of mine was out when message center said "bulb position failure".

if your facing your headlight, they are small bulbs on the inner portion of the headlight that are closest to the grill. They also come on when the yellow button on your remote is pushed.

hmmm. gotta look for those. I'v also got to replace the plastic plug that goes to my headlights, one of them cracked due to the heat and has to be replaced, at 8 bucks a piece I was only able to find them at Volvo. However, they told me they don't fit perfectly, I was told I'd have to make them work.
