A message has come up on my screen that reads "Bulb Failure - Position Light"
Does anyone know what that refers to?

So I will only see a light bulb out when the car is in reverse?

 

At the bottom of each taillight assembly there are two lamps toward the outboard side of the assembly. These are your position lamps & one of them is either loose or burnt out.

Take a look with the car running and you should be able to spot the one that's out; again, there are two on each side, and they're red (clear lamps, red lens).

You do not have to be in reverse...they're on all the time.
