So I come home today and I notice these symtops:
1.) when I hit the gas (and release quickly) the car will surge stop surge stop surge stiop for a long period of time - I would think throttle body?
2.) As the surge/stop happened the no oil pressure light came on briefly (flashed for a second or too) - which led me to believe it was the oil trap?
3.) after the message came up, I put my code reader to it and it pulled the codes p1238? dont know that one, but I think its just a silly fuel related one but I am not sure.
The message came up and the car shortly after stalled, but started right back up again.
The spark plugs have not been changed for 40k miles, but the surge/stop felt like the throttle body since something similar happened last time.
Thanks for any help !

So it seems that after driving the car for 25-30 mins on the highway after using the turbo 60-80ishmph (frequently-I'd say atleast 10 times or more), and when I return to the city to drive regularly from 0-30 the car surges and stalls.
I asked them too look at the throttle body, but they said that is fine.
Volvo Service center says the car is 100% fine and its not stalling. Even today I started it up, let it warm up for a bit, put it into D and 50 ft into my drive it stalled with surging rpms.
I know if I call the dealer tommorow it will not do this stalling and its not storing the codes in the computer.
It also feels the gears in my transmission, after normal driving hitches during shift - like its sticking then it frees up in the midst of a shift (like an airbubble effect) - My fluid is pink and looks clean.
Thanks -

So it goes to volvo again thursday :/ a few more symtoms arose -
- When I use tip tronic mode it is surging at 3-4000 rpms in gear 1 (with normal slow acceleration)
-It is stalling more often, and in reverse or drive it if I just tap the accelerator a bit it will do an never ending surge/stop with dim of lights. (only stops it if I drop it in Neutral for some reason).
-- The key is getting stuck in the ignition, it wont go all the way to position 0 right away when I go to shut it off - I have ot wait 5-10 seconds to shut it down, and tonight I had to wait like 30 seconds. It took 3 start attempts to get it started this morning.
