Hello. I own a Volvo s80 2002 2.4 d5 and I have had a problem for some time. when I accelerate it sounds like it is losing air somewhere, it accelerates in steps like, especially if they are under two thousand laps, like up to two thousand laps it raises ok at two thousand it has like a jerk and then it goes ok. now I also have a turbo / supercharged wastgate solenoid "A" range performance error p0244. what can it be ? in romania especially in my area harder with mechanics.

I owned a s40 d2 and after MOT, the car felt gutless, flooring the gas pedal and hardly gained any speed. I took it to my local garage and the mechanic said that on the mot test,they rev hard the diesels in order to get emissions readings and most likely an air line got disconnect. He opened the bonnet, pointed at some hose(sorry i wasn't paying attention which one&#129325 and wriggled the hose back in place,job done,power came back
Probably in your case it's something different, but worth to check
