Can I swap the driver-side door of my '03 S80 with the door from a '00? Are the doors from these two years 1) bolt compatible; 2) share the same body lines and handles; and, 3) have the same shape opening? I need a replacement door. A local'ish salvage yard has one for a great price--but--there's always a "but"--it's from a '00 S80. My intuition says "nope"..

Do you know with some degree of certainty?

 

what I usually do is use Car-parts.com to search and then select the "compatible" years option to see what range of years the database matches up.
