My friend and I just finished replacing my radiator with a salvaged one due to a cracked radiator tank. It went well, and it is taking the coolant just fine, but I just want to know what I should be looking for, if anything for signs of future problems. I am constantly watching the coolant level, and it has been bubbling up, and I've been topping off.
Also, how much coolant does this tank hold? I have been doing the 50-50 water coolant, and Its been about 1.5 gallons of the mixture. How much more does it hold?

After filling it and running it will usually burp twice and then you will need to top it up.
You might want to take it for a 6 mile trip then finish topping it off.

Just check all connections for leakage.
