Long story short i bought my s80 3 years ago for $400, 2000 2.9 fwd with 230k miles. PO was my friends dad that commuted NY to PA every week, car had a bad coil/abs light when i bought it (he thought the motor was dying). new coil + some resoddering of the abs module and the thing ran great.

fast forward 3 years, the car has been siting in my garage since then. the soon to be wifey needs something that isn't falling apart or 8mpg jeep GC v8 limited. i figured id dust the volvo off and give it to her.

the battery was long dead, so i replaced that.
the maf either needs replaced or cleaned since i have a random misfire/stalling issue when its plugged in. but runs rather well (other then cold starts) when its not.

now what i can't figure out is why the locks (unless i use the key), steering wheel buttons, radio, sunroof, cluster lights, and light controls (left of steering wheel) do not work. but the car runs and drives fine?

i checked the simple things, fuse block near odb2 port and under hood (am i missing one?) i'm rather puzzled.

any ideas or thoughts on this one? i come from the land of 1.8t vw/audi's so volvos aren't my cup of tea.

TIA, i would love this thing as a daily...quieter and nicer ride then my 05 a4 USP.
