Default Relay diagram

Anyone know where I can get a diagram of the fuse & relay panel in the trunk? Three spots where relays would go are empry and I'm drawing amps off their sockets. I have no books from this car.

Yes, thanks. I didn't know that site existed, and apparently neither did the dealer.

That was from a wiring diagram disk I have.
The site used to exist for FREE but Volvo lock it up.

I see. Well, there's 3 relays missing & probably unrelated, still no power to climate control. The battery looks to have been replaced recently, so I guess I'm off to the dealer after trying lock & unlock, disconnecting battery.

Try unhooking the battery and connecting the 2 cables together for about 5 minutes. Then reconnect and see if it works.

The climate should be coverd by the CEM which is under the dash and the fuse panel in the drivers side of the dash.

I read somewhere about the battery thing and it didn't work. The first dealer I talked to didn't seem very knowledgeable, so I called another, who tells me it's a good possibility it's the software. But I still have to pay $115 for diagnostic. There's also 2 open recalls. Don't they get paid for these as well from Volvo? You'd think they'd give me a break on the diag.

They will get paid for the recalls only.
But if it is a climate recall place dumb and see what happens.

They wouldn't budge on the diag cost, so I had that done at the same time as the recalls. It's the control module. Any sources to find one cheap? I didn't find any in the search, just ABS modules.

I thought that was just for ABS, not the ecm for climate control. The dealer wants $900.

Yes it is for the ABS.
If you need the others sorry to tell you but you are stuck with the Dealer.
They also have to program it to the car or it won't work.

You also have to watch some computers cant be reused between cars.
Once they are programmed they can't be programmed again.

I picked one up for $20 so we'll see what happens. A local shop claims to have all the software for these cars, gotta be cheaper than the dealer. I've got the VIN from the car it came from.

I now have air!!! But no power seat or defroster. Do I still need a software configuration to make those work? Even so, I'm happy with the outcome. The whole job took me 15 minutes.

Yes it is a module in a network that isn't working properly.

I'll try to find an indy that has the software. If not, what exactly do I need to tell the dealer to avoid the glaring stare when I mention reinstalling software?

Tell them you got a new module and installed it and want software installed.
