Remote Start vs. Immobilizer question
Hi, I have a quick question about the Volvo's immobilizer & getting a remote start (i.e., Viper 5900).
If you need the Volvo key's "chip" to disengage the immobilizer, and if you want a remote start, you need to have the key "wired" into the car / car's ignition system (or located somewhere in the car to disengage the remote start), doesn't that seriously increase the chances of somene hotwiring your car? And so doesn't that seriously increase the risk associated with getting a remote start?
Thanks very much!![/align]
