Hi so ever since I’ve replaced the trunk lid on my S80 the car thinks the trunk is open and won’t allow me to lock my vehicle. Do I need to have it programmed? I’ve tried taking off the negative terminal on the battery for a minute without success it still won’t lock.

 

Do the lights remain on inside the trunk when it is closed?

 

+1 on where donf was going - sounds like there's a contact switch that needs adjusting to sense when the trunk is closed.
