Default replacing power steering high pressure hose 2003 S80

I have a pinhole leak in the power steering high pressure hose, not the low pressure section going to the reservoir but the section leaving the pump. The metal tubing attached to the hose winds under the car frame and at first glance it would almost appear that I have to remove the sub frame in order to replace it. This looks like a very big job.

1) Does anyone know if there is a way to replace only the hose portion by cutting the hose from metal tubing at each end and somehow re-connecting to the metal tubing. I realize clamps won't do as there is considerable pressure in that hose and there doesn't seem to be much room to re-connect to existing metal tubing.

2) If the entire high pressure hose and metal tubing has to be replaced does anyone have or know the step by step procedures for replacing? I checked S80 manual for 2003 and that procedure is not shown in the manual.

Any assistance or insight would be greatly appreciated!

Gotta drop the subframe to lower the rack. Those procedures should be in the manual.
