Can any one tell me if the rims from a 2000 S60 will fit a 1999 S80. They are both 16in rims.

They should, don't have a s60 but as long as bolt pattern and all the like bits related to the bolt pattern are the same (or adapters are used as needed)

I got the rims today. Last night I did some research to make sure the rims would fit since I had to drive 2hrs away to get them. One of the web sites that eased my mind was this: Wheel Bolt Pattern Cross Reference Database and Conversion Guide: 5 X 4.25 . After looking as these numbers I felt good going ahead and getting them. These rims are more of a sporty design.That's the only difference I noticed. My reason for getting them is I have a set of snow tires and that's where I will mount them.So instead of breaking down tires I will just be switching out rims from summer to winter and vise versa.

 

Well I have had the S60 rims on my S80 since the beginning of snow fall and they fit just fine.Sorry for the delay in posting this.
