Again im back but I know the problem this time. I replaced all the strut parts up front on both sides on my 2000 s80 t6 and now there is a rubbing noise in the front strut when turning the wheel only when there is weight on it (not jacked up). Its putting a popping sound through the spring. So I pulled out the spring assembly and found that the strut mount is rubbing on the rubber peice that sits on the spring itself. The strut mount looks bent though, it wobbles a tiny bit back and fourth when turning and catches once everytime around. So my question is is that normal or do i have a defected part? I noticed when turning the steering back and fourth the struts tops (while on the car) go up and down. Please let me know any info, Thank you.

 

Are you 100% sure they are seated all the way?
