basicaly the title says it all. I have a 99 T6 and neither of the wires going to the ac clutch are hot. Any ideas?

 

Check fuse/relay?

 

scratch that, one of my alligator clips must've been bad cause when I retested this morning, i got 14volts on one of the lines. but there is no movement in the clutch at all when there is power running.

 

Check all the connections to ensure that they are connected well...

Do you have refrigerant in the system and is your pressure switch connected?

 

if I bypass the pressure switch the clutch engages perfect. When is the pressure switch on the back of the compressor engage? It doesn't look like it can be replaced, can it be replaced? the pressure was 100lbs when I got the car. I vacuumed it and replaced it to 60lbs, and I had a shop recover and replace it. When I checked it today it was 70lbs.

The clutch has never engaged normally, but like I said when I jumped over the switch it engages perfectly.

Any Ideas?
