Default S80 Air filter housing removal

After being quoted 1200.00 to replace the ABS thing I managed to take it out and send it off for a rebuld and reinstalled it for all of about 80.00. While not totally stupid, the job was made much more difficult by my not being able to remove the air filter housing above the unit. What am I missing. Try as I did, I simply could not get it to come off.
Anyone know how to do it. I want to tighten the 5mm nuts on the ABS thing .

The entire air box should just pull up to remove. There is plastic clips that hold it in. But be careful they tend to break as well.

The bottom of the air box has the hole and the clip part is mounted to the body.
