I'm got a 2016 that gets love and attention. 130k miles. Started to see black smudge by the tailpipes at 100k. Check engine light came on at 125k. No dipstick in this model. Electronic oil Guage read ok. Shop replace oil Guage and said these were unreliable. Also said I had 1 cup of oil in the case. So yes, burning oil. $6K to replace bad valves in I4 engine. Anyone else have this issue? Have you tried Lucas oil leak stop?
