Exclamation s80 mystery problem TPS code?

Okay here is my issue. my car on startup has been sputtering violently and it does not accelerate properly. if i am lucky i can drive 45 mph after holding the pedal to the ground. we took it to a trusted mechanic who said a TPS code had come up beyond that he had no clue about what to do or what else could be done. the car has gone from doing the sputtering on start up occasionally to turning it off and starting up again would be fine, to now its a miracle if we get it to start up normal. we cleaned out the throttle body and replaced two hoses. please if anybody has any ideas or experienced this problem some answer would be immensely helpful. its the not knowing part that is driving me insane

Okay thats what we had thought but we werent sure. my question would be that is this something that the throttle body does because my symptoms seem to match all except for the very rough shaking during idle. im just concerned about that. also i heard something about this being a problem with the throttle on this model car. now would this happen again replacing it with a volvo part or could i use another throttle body? the hint i got from the dealer was unless its got volvo parts it wont work. now perhaps thats because it was the dealership or perhaps its true?

there is a factory TSB on the ETM modules, all Volvo (new) parts are sold with the correction and are problem free.
