Hi,

I have just got a 2001, S80 2.4 Auto S and have couple of issues I would like some advice please, note car has not been driven in a 2-3 months just started once a week

Got two error message's,

1) emmisions service needed (believe this could mean oxygen sensor)
2) alarm service required (does this mean siren needs replacing)

would unplugging battery for 1/2 reset / remove these messages for good?

if people could point me in right direction / help, it would be much appreciated

other issues, drivers door wood trim come off by about 3-4 inches, does this just glue on?

drivers door window, when going up, seems to come out runner on top right side

hmm well get the code check if you can. most auto zone or similar will do it for free.
You could try disconnecting and reconnecting the batter, but you have to be careful on how this procedure is done. just search in youtube on correct procedure on disconnect and reconnecting the battery. Hopefully things should work out
