The outside passenger side rear view mirror on our 2001 S80 T6 got ran into and broken, so I ordered one from a salvage yard. I received the replacement--only to discover that it does not fit because our car has the memory mirror feature and the replacement that was sent does not (harness is different). I contacted them, and they are sending me another one with the correct harness, but without the actual glass in it. The man at the salvage shop said it would be easy to change the glass from the one he first sent (without the memory) to the correct one.

Long story short.............first of all, will the glass be the same? Secondly....how hard is the glass itself to change??? I have looked at our broken one, and it appears to be mounted to the mirror frame in a way that would not have allowed it to just "slide" off??
