S80 over boost
not sure what you mean "bypass them". Are you concerned with failing emissions due to a check engine light or due to the measurements of HCs and NOs
What year is your car and what is your state's testing procedure? Best to start by googling what your state requires for your vehicle and model year.
Example in CT they check for any CEL codes and that the system is "ready" (meaning you didn't just reset codes on your drive over lol) they check the evap system (gas cap seal) and measure COs/NOs at the tailpipe at a set RPM. There's a balance between COs and NOs - if the car is too lean you'd get high NOs/low COs, car is too rich, you get a cooler burn so its low NOs and high COs. assuming your fuel trim is correct your car will pass unless there's something major wrong. The dyno test is done at a steady speed so I don't think the turbo boost amount will have much impact as the engine management system should accomodate for that.
Other states like Massachusetts focus less on emissions for older cars but have a rigorous safety inspection (had to replace the brake hard lines on my son's S40 because they failed due to "exterior rust" Can't really argue about that... fixed it and moved on.
