Default Boost Fade

Simple:

1. You have a leak
2. Refer to #1

Story:

I could not hold boost. Pressure tested the turbo boost path, found leaking pipe, tightened. Still could not maintain solid boost, replaced CBV with a block plate and look what I found.

Damn john... I think I know that the problem is... that 18T is to powerful, and I think you need to trade with me... 18 for the 15 with 16 wheels..LOL

How are you liking that ebc by the way?

I started ordering parts for the upcoming motor build, as far as turbo goes I think im going 19T and a HKS ebc..

Those IPD diaphragms have all been failing. I'm going to upgrade to the Forge one eventually.

Gabe, thats what I heard too. I called IPD and explained what happened. I told them that I heard that they have a tendency to tare. They said that they have sold thousands of them and have only had one returned and it was due to being installed incorrectly. They asked for a picture, I sent it. They were shocked and asked that I send it in to them so they could examine why. They did send me a new one. So, are the rumors true??? I am thinking they are not or everyone that has had their rip have not called IPD.

I have seen so many threads on that IPD diaphragm tearing. I guarantee that IPD is just denying it. Selling thousands of them and only one being returned because it was installed improperly, IMO, is a load of BS. I'm guessing most of the people that I have seen on VS who's teared did not send it back because they probably weren't going to bother putting another one in. If I keep a rubber diaphragm, I'll just get the OE Mitsubishi one and a stiffer spring from Viva.
