Default S80 PCV, is it worth it?

I have a 2001 S80 t6, 198K, car is in good shape for it's age. Just had a massive oil leak, thinking it's the PCV system (after reading all the posts). Oil is spraying up between the cams (on the back side). My question is, if I do the PCV is there a chance that whatever seal is leaking will stop leaking or am I likely in for more work, crank seal, or something? Attached is a pic, you can faintly see the oil spray. Appreciate all opinions.

Try running it with the dipstick removed, That should relieve the pressure so you can see if the seals still leak.

also where is the oil coming from? start by cleaning up as best you can then run the car a bit to see if you can ID the source. I'd also look at the turbo oil return line seal. There is no smaller part that can make a bigger mess :-)
