I would like to put the rear seats down and find something to put on top of them for the 90 pound dog (she likes to swim in the Gulf of Mexico and get into an awaiting, air conditioned car). She like to call the 60lb boyfriend to join her in the car.

The s80 is a 1999 with 120k but the seats and the car still look good. Has any pet lover solved this problem?

 

I used to just fold the seats down and throw a blanket on top of the seatbacks/trunk liner to catch Golden Retreiver hair.

 

We have a product that attatches to the top of the back seats and the top of the front seats that forms a U (think hammock with steeper sides) that the dog sits on, protecting seats and rear floor, it is water proof as well. We got it from a friend so I have no idea on cost or where it came from.
