S80 t6 white smoke
#3
Well, you'll get much better and more specific answers on tech issues in the appropriate sub forum. This is more of a meet and greet area. Generally, two things can/will make white smoke...coolant/water and/or transmission fluid. To exit the tail pipe it has to enter the combustion chamber or be condensing in the tail pipe. So...a bit of white smoke first thing in the a.m. that goes away as the car warms up is nothing. Continual smoke is an issue because something has failed for the coolant or atf to get into the combustion chamber. A blown head gasket is the number one reason...especially on turbos.
