Default S80 Transmission

Hello fellow volvo owners! I'm new to the forum, so bear with me. I have a 2000 S80 that gives me a code of ( shift solinoid b stuck). Is this something that requires a trans. tear down, or is this something that can be repaired at min. cost? Also car has 130,000 mi., but has been well maintained. Also need radaitor replacement. Have access to all tools needed, but dont know how entailed this is labor is. Any Suggestions?

The soleniod is something you can DIY, but its a big job, a lot of work but then its better than $2500-$3500 that a shop might charge to change the whole tranny. I believe the solenoid is around $30. Its a pig though, so do all three!

I havent replaced my radiator, but it looks like it would be comparatively easy. If you have a T6 you will have the intercooler to deal with too.
