S80T - rubber moulding along bottom of driver's side door
Greetings all.
I just bought a 2001 S80 T. I've only had it a few days. There were some things that needed fixing on it and the place I bought it from made good on their promises; new driver's side door locking mechanism (drivers side lock wouldn't go down when you used the remote), air bag light wouldn't go off (apparently after having the driver's seat re-upolstered, the person who took the seat out to put new leather on itcut the wires somewhere, hence the air bag light staying on - all fixed now).
My main beef here (and it may just be a case of poor design and my tuff luck) is that the rubbermoulding piecethat runs along the bottom of both drivers and passenger doors keeps popping out. It's the driver's side that is the main culprit. Apparently it was 'fixed', but when you get in and out of this little sweetie, your foot tends to hit therubber mouldingandit pops back out and just hangs there until you somehow manage to snake it back it to the almost non-existent groove where it's supposed to live.
'They' tell me this is a common problem. Is there any type of adhesive or SOMETHING I could use to fix this infernal thing once and for all? Any incite is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
