Question scraper moldings

I am trying, to no avail, to find the moldings that go between the top of the door and the bottom of the window. I am told they are called "scraper moldings" for my 2001 S80 T6. ALSO...am looking for the plastic moldings that go on the inside of the rear doors that the sunshade slides thru (they are about the length of the door and simply fit around the slot in the door panel where the sunshade goes in.

ANY help finding a source for these would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

Is this similar to what you are talking about?

I know this is for a Volvo 200 but if these guys don't have it, I would try the dealer.

Also the other thing you are talking about is it opposit of the molding in the interior? If so I would also try the dealer for the parts. I hate to say go to the dealer when you could find it cheaper... but honestly there really isn't much out there when it comes to small exterior / interior parts. Sorry...

Also you could try a salvage yard, but I would be careful about that because I know with the molding you want a tight fit so that water does not get in there. Also if you do find this can you post it here because I just took a look at mine and I need to replace it as well.

Thanks and I hope this helps you!

I just replaced the moldings on my S80. I bought them at the dealer for $49.99 each, and they had a 10% off parts coupon on their website. If you prefer to buy online here is a link.

Default Scraper moldings and sunscreen trim--FOUND!!

Hi, and thanks for the replies!! I checked with the dealers here in our area, and not wanting to have to take a second mortgage out to buy these 4 window moldings and the 2 rear sunscreen molds, I kept looking-HA! I found a VERY good source recently for new AND used Volvo parts, and located them, and they ordered new ones for me at a VERY good price. For example...the dealer would ONLY order the sunscreen trim as a part of the whole sunscreen kit....for the low low price of $300.!!! The place I bought them from ordered OEM screen trim for me for $30 each. SO...yes---I am pretty happy about that!! The name of the place is Swedish Salvage, located in Edmond, Okla. As I said, they have used Volvo parts (they keep over 100 wrecks on their property), and also have a repair facility and will stock or order new Volvo parts for you, and ship them, also. Their website is www.swedishsalvage@sbcglobal.net.

Hope this lead helps!! Thanks again for all your input!
