Hey guys,

I have a 2002 Volvo S80. The drivers side seat belt is fully retracted, but will not pull out at all. When you pull it, it locks as if it were pulled too fast. Has anyone had this issue or have any ideas as to what could be wrong?

I have the same thing going on with my driver seat belt. When I got it back from the mechanic this winter it was locked, luckily just big enough to still use but would like it fixed. Someone please help!

 

You need to replace the belt assembly. Do disconnect the battery prior because it will set of the SRS light when unplugged.
