Default Serpentine tensioner pulley- ribbed VS. smooth

2000 S80 T6 2.8L
Have to replace the tensioner pulley/assembly due to bearing noise on start up.
Car has a serpentine belt with ribs on “both” sides of belt.
Serpentine pulley on tensioner has matching ribs.
All aftermarket tensioners I found have smooth pulleys on them.
Has anyone replaces a ribbed pulley with a smooth and did it cause any problems?
Thank you

The tensioner pulley should be smooth.
