if anyone can guide me where i can buy a reset airbag sensor 31288291

no one has this service around me and the unit is giving an error. And it is difficult to ship the unit abroad and get back

i tried to search for a new one it seems it is not there and all the used ones on ebay said they need to be reset

Why do you need a new one? Have you gotten the car checked out by a volvo mechanic? Like most modules in the car, this is probably linked to the VIN.

What do you mean by "reset" do you have an srs light on?

yes it had the red airbag light on

was checked , not able to do reset when it was installed

so was told need to get a new one or have it reset externally

 

Who did the checking and did they use Volvo's VIDA tool to check the control module? As with any module fault codes, the specific codes are a clue to the next step in the diagnosis. As with any sensor/module issue, you need to vet out whether its wiring, a connector, the sensor, the airbag or the controller. Don't rule out wiring issues, particularly if you park where mice can get into the car.

 

Well i am not sure which device it was checked with

however they were able to rest it before


first time it had one belt error at that time the red airbag light was not one

then it gave right sensor error

and now the red light cannot be reset . Not sure why they told me this unit needs replacement
