My nephew's 2003 S80 T6 suffered a front end crash. Someone has offered a 2000 S80 (in possible need of an engine) that we're considering but would involve a road trip of considerable distance. Looks like Volvo went from a 2.8 liter to a 3.0 in 2002. Will the 2003 motor fit into the 2000, utilizing all of the 2003 computers and other peripherals? I know they're both first generation.
If not, then I guess I'm looking for a 2003 donor vehicle!
