Hey everyone, I'm new here and was wondering??
My wife has a 2000 S80, she's been told it has a T-6 turbo, how can I tell if this is right?
I don't see anything turbo like going on with it, no hose's across the top or anything? Just wondering I doesn't sound much like a turbo to me? Is there a way I can tell what she has?

T6 twinturbo on top 2.9 non-turbo on bottom

 

Thanks, just as I thought she has a 2.9. thanks for the pictures too, it'll help me to convince her that its no turbo.

n here is another type of engine..Its a turbo but not twin turbo as u can see..its a 2.5. sweeeet. Washed the engine last weeek

 

Who told her that it was a t6 twin turbo? Was it the person who sold it to her? If that is the case, she needs some money back..

 

She said it was one of the "mechanics" she took it to in the past.
We won't be going back there, that's for sure! Lol
