Default T6 Oil pressure problem

i was driving my 1999 t6 on the freeway when i saw blue smoke and after about 4 miles the oil pressure light came on. It could run for 4-5 seconds and I stopped it. the top and front left side of the engine were covered in oil. could this have damaged my engine? 1.5-2 liters of oil remained in it

my native language is not english, sorry for mistakes!

Your front cam oil seal/s may have popped out due to a clogged pcv system. (creating a large oil leak)

Yes, you are right! I clean the pcv system. do you think there might be a problem with the crankshaft or the bearings? I know the oil pressure light comes on when the pressure drops below 0.5-0.6 bar, not when 0.

did you run low on oil to the point the pump started sucking air? Did the pressure light stay off once you topped the oil? It will be tough to know if you have internal damage without a tear down or if you develop some more symptoms like a rod knock. What you can do is an oil change where you drain through filter paper to see if there's any metal bits etc. assuming your light was on only a few seconds, I doubt if you had enough time to do an serious damage. If the oil light comes on periodically then the next step is to drop the pan and inspect the pick up and consider servicing the oil pump. Some models/years have an upgrade for the pick up design as well so you can research that to see if it applies to your engine.

when I stopped it, I didn't hear any unusual sound from the engine. it has not been started since then (half a year ago). I'm going to fix it now. the oil has since been drained, but I haven't checked the filter. I didn't see anything abnormal in the oil. I hope it won't be a problem
