Default No oil pressure light

I have a 2006 Volvo XC90 with 166k on it.
About a week ago the no oil pressure light came on randomly.
Oil level was fine. I changed the oil pressure sensor, dropped the oil pan cleaned it, changed o rings.
Put new oil and oil filter on. Drove it around today for about an hour and it ran fine. No sign of oil pressure light coming on. Tonight go to the store and the light pops on for a minute and goes away. Get home and I have lost two quarts of oil. Check underneafh car and the engine oil cooler appears to be leaking. So tomorrow I am going to change the o rings on it. My question is would that leak cause the light to come back on?
