Is your coolant getting low at all?

Have a sunroom but it ok. The coolant gets a little low but this dosent smell like coolent but its kinda oily. I bought the car like that so I dont know maybe they spilled something. Is there anything on that side that might cause it to get wet? Like heater core or an oil line or something?

Heater core is towards the middle. The A/C drain might be clogged and it might be backing up and leaking out the pollen filter area.

When the heater core went on my S80 it was the driver's side that got wet. It didn't look green on the carpet and didn't really look green when I blotted it with a piece of white paper. It was oily. Smythe Volvo in San Jose CA charged about $900 to replace the heater core and clean the carpets. That was in July 2005 when the car was 6 1/2 years old.

Good luck,

Jon
