Went to replace coolant temp sensor, and broke that plastic piece coming off the rear part of the thermostat housing, so now half is free, and the other half is in the housing. Can anyone provide a diagram or part numbers for the plastic piece with the threads, and the housing?

Generically Volvo now sells many thermostats as complete units including the sensor. IMO just replace the whole thing. Good luck, let us know what you did and what worked and what didn't,.....
