I can't get the trunk open on my 2001 s80. I have checked both fuse panels and can't find a fuse for it in either. I can't reach throught the tiny opening in the armrest, and the rear seats only release fromt he trunk. The console release button doesn't work, nor does the "handle" release on the trunk. I need to replace the battery- it won't hold a charge for more than a day, and if I leave it parked for more than that it goes dead. Thanks!

 

There is a key lock cylinder in the trunk to use as well to open it. It is on the pass side next to the handle to open the trunk. Remove the black cover and use key to open.
