Default Headlight Lens Cracked! Help?

so this weekend I noticed the driver side headlight lens was cracked on the top all the way across, I have no idea how it happened does not appear to be a rock cause its at the top of the lens and dont remember being hit by anything. So how hard it is to replace? I know they sell them on ebay for $120shipped comes with new glass lens, gasket and new clips but do I have to take out the whole lamp to replace it? if so do I have to remove the bumper to get the lamp out? I wouldnt be to worried about it but its been rain the last 2 days and water is leaking in. I put some seal on the crack but that wont last to long. So any help would be grateful on the replacing of the lens. Thanks

Default RE: Headlight Lens Cracked! Help?

You will have to loosen/almost remove the bumper cover to get it out.

First start by the front wheel.Look for screws or rivets. They will have to be removed. There is a torxes 25 screw that will need to be loosened and then pushed in to be released from the bumper cover. Then open the hood and remove the black clips across the top of the bumper cover. Push the center in one click then pull the clip out.(Most of the time they are already broke you may want to buy more ahead of time)

Then remove the black part of the molding Carefully in the middle of the bumper cover. Then you will see a screw in the middle of the bumper cover. Remove it and try to slide the bumper cover out enough to get to the screws for the lights.
